I'm typing this from the cleanest condo this side of Martha's Stewart's pad. If memory serves, the final total was 6 big bags of garbage, 4 bags of clothes donated to Value Village, and a couple of boxes of books donated to the library. If I may say, this place has never looked better.
Lesson Learned:
- Cleaning takes time. I must have spent 15 hours cleaning last week.
- De-clutterring is very satisfying. My life feels so much more organized and uncomplicated.
- When planning to clean house, stock up on garbage bags.
Admittedly, I meant to write this last night, but I managed to catch a cold the first week back in the city. Therefore, my week 2 goal is a bit less ambitious and time-consuming.
