I'm a creature of habbit. I eat the same breakfast every morning, take the same bus to work, take lunch at the same time, take a break at 3pm, take the same bus home, and read for a half hour before bed. Being a creature of habbit, I get my gas at the same Petro Canada near my place, and by my convenience goods at the local Shoppers every Sunday.
At some point last week, I realized that if a store I frequent has a customer loyalty program, and there's no cost to it, there's no harm in enrolling. Therefore, last week, I got a Petro Points card and a Shopper's Optimum card. I'm curious to see how many points I can rack up over the next year.

I'd say that since the Optimum program started at Shoppers, i've gotten over $500 worth of free stuff. Very worth it!
